Authorisations for the transfer of works

The Cultural Heritage and Landscape Code lays down that assets of historic and artistic interest cannot be destroyed, damaged or adapted to uses not compatible with their character, or of such a kind as to prejudice their conservation. Consequently the removal of works, whether temporary (for example, in the case of exhibitions and loans) or definitive (for example, where conservation is impossible etc.) must be authorised by the competent Superintendency by means of a written request addressed to:
